The Fruit Falling too Close to the Tree?
or
A Tragedy Waiting for an Ending?

by James Nimmo

The Kern family style of crotch morality disparges human diverisity

(OKLAHOMA CITY)  I attended the last of two debates between Corporation Commissioner Jim Roth and the GOPer opponent Dana Murphy.  Held at Oklahoma City University in the School of Law Building there were about 150 people listening including GOPer Rep, Sally Kern and her husband.

I think if you're reading this you know that Ms. Kern carried a loaded hand gun twice into the Oklahoma Capitol Building and that every waking moment of her life is devoted to thinking about how gay men and lesbians conduct their private lives and how she can break up the action.

I think her husband, Rev. Steve Kern, chief minister at Olivet Baptist Church in Oklahoma City, is also devoted to the same voyeurism consuming his wife.  I believe this because I attended in the early spring five services preached by Rev. Kern and he never failed to mention the clinical, pseudo-scientific word "homosexuality" in those sermons and the great evils spurting there from.  He even said that men having sex with other men look like dogs.  I swear I'm not making this up!  Imagine saying this in front of 60- and 70-year old white hetero men and women steeped in the blood of their G-sus!  And just what animal comes to Rev. Kern's mind when he thinks of heteros having sex?

At the conclusion of the debate I went up to Ms. Kern and reminded her that it's also illegal to carry a gun onto a college campus.  She replied that I was welcome to call a security guard and have her purse searched.  I declined the invitation saying I wanted to make sure she knew the law.

Fearing that his Biblical help-meet made from a rib was losing the thread of the discussion, Rev. Kern asked me why I was so hung up on Sally's gun toting.

I asked Rev. Kern why were he and Sally so hung up on "homosexuality"?  Is it because the fruit hasn't fallen far from the tree?

Oh, but Rev. Kern said they're only interested in morality and that I should attend their church and see what it's like. I reminded him I'd been to their church five times and I had all the X-tian crotch morality I could stomach.

Let me tell you I was the unidentified man escorted from the Bethany City Hall two weeks ago when I stood up at a political forum and asked on behalf of public safety if Sally Kern was carrying her gun in  a "no weapons" area such as the auditorium we were sitting in.

Shouldn't it bother you to know that there are people on the public payroll who have no intention of obeying the law when it applies to their idea that they are ABOVE earthly law and prefer the higher law of the Triune heavenly father-son-holy spirit?

An interview with Jesse Kern, one of the sons of the hetero-Kerns, appeared in the Tulsa World ( http://tinyurl.com/39kpsq ) earlier this year when his mother's You Tube speech
( http://tinyurl.com/yq9lak ) was burning on the Internet like the purifying fires of hell.  Jesse said he was not gay and had given his sexuality to his god.

That's funny.  I didn't know god needed a sex buddy.

I'm no psychiatrist, I'm purely an observer but doesn't something here smell a bit musty, like it's been in the closet too long?

Let me see:  a grown man raised in a fervently fundie church doffs that background, ( http://tinyurl.com/66axyu ) joins a new-age kind of commune, and devotes his sex life to the god of his imagination.

At the same time his parents are on a 24-7 rampage for morality, looking for semen stains between every sheet,  and partner their politics to organizations associated with some unsavory characters.

It seems to me that Sally Kern and her family are a tragedy waiting for an ending.

EXCERPT:  complete at:  http://gossip-boy.com/Kern_Campaign.html

Lawmakers like Sally Kern and Jim Inhofe, followers of Weyrich, believe that Dominionism should be the government that “sits upon this land.” In their Christian pledge of allegiance they believe in ”life and liberty for those who believe”. For those who don’t believe, they believe in the opposite. The Biblical literalists’ rallying cry is "Seize your armor, gird it on/Now the battle will be won/Soon, your enemies all slain/Crowns of glory you shall gain."

Doministists are “End Times” Christians who want to bring about Armageddon, as quickly as possible and must prepare the earth for it, by creating a central world government and religion that will launch Crusades on non-believers and sinners like homosexuals.  Going under names like Joel’s Army they are preparing an apocalyptic military force to launch their intended control of the world. Joel’s Army is a metaphor for the avenging locusts God sends to plague non-believers. They endorse the public execution by stoning of homosexuals in line with their devotion to Old Testament biblical code.

[Editors Note: In recent weeks, Gossip Boy has done substantial reporting on subjects like Inhofe, Kern, Anita Bryant, and Falwell. Readers should take note how all these figures come from the same roots. Gossip Boy has also linked the Kerns as being supporters of Hand Up Ministries, which is headed by fellow Dominionist David Nichols of Choctaw. Nichols is under indictment in Oklahoma for violations of the sex offender registry for amassing over one hundred high-risk sex offenders, mostly child molesters, in a trailer park in south OKC.  He has been found to be a former associate of Tony Alamo, an Arkansas cult leader and Dominionist, who was recently arrested by the FBI for child sex charges. There are those within the Dominionist movement that believe sex with children purifies the soul, which will allow the adult a more sacred union with Jesus. A story on these events will be published next week.]

Weyrich operates another conservative group called the Free Congress Foundation, whose leadership classes include the reading of Adolph Hitler’s Mein Kampf. Weyrich is known for guiding Eric Heubecks writing The Integration of Theory and Practice, which promotes using deception, divisiveness, and misinformation in order for Christian fundamentalists to gain seats of legislative power. He has also called for the reformation of the House Un-American Activities Committee to investigate members of the news media.

EXCERPT:  The article (Tulsa, Okla., World:  http://www.tulsaworld.com/news/article.aspx?articleID=20080315_1_A13_NWorl52386 )
does not say if the reporter asked Mr. Kern to admit or deny the pervasive, long-term rumors of his alleged homosexual behaviors and frequent cruising of the library men's restroom when he was in college at Oklahoma Baptist University, if Kern was asked if he had previously engaged in homosexual conduct, if Kern distinguished between the words "homosexual" (a sexual orientation) or "gay" (an expression of chosen lifestyle), or if Kern's Baptist minister father had ever placed him in reparative therapy or with an "ex-gay" ministry.

On Thursday, Representative Kern told the press that her son is not gay. "She said he is artistic, very musical and not one to play on the football team," according to the Tulsa World article.

Mr. Kern said he graduated in 1998 with a music degree from Oklahoma Baptist University.
